Hi all,
The North Fork Trails agenda was published recently in the Sierra Club's Mother Lode Chapter newsletter, along with my email address, and two people responded immediately.
Cynthia Burt inquired about making a donation towards the maintenance of a trail for people with disabilities, and Dean Decker and Deane Swickard of Folsom BLM were able to point her towards the Independence Trail near Nevada City, and the Dave Moore Nature Area on the South Fork of the American. So this worked out fine.

I don't have any knowledge of this road and these trails near Lake Clementine. 1200 acres is a pretty big chunk, nearly two square miles. I am concerned not only about public access issues, but also scenic impacts on the North Fork canyon. If anyone on this list can add any information about this Kalorama project I will forward it to the rest of the list.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to make the meeting in Granite Bay.
The North Fork Trails piece in the Mother Lode Chapter newsletter generated a couple of inquiries, one having to do with making a donation to a trail for people with disabilities, the other, about the proposed Kalorama subdivision on 1200 acres above Lake Clementine. You probably know all about this.
I contacted Tina A. about the digital camera, 501-type donation, and she is looking into whether the CWC can act as an intermediary.
I am hoping to continue explorations along the edge of the North Fork Canyon between Sawtooth Ridge and Big Valley Bluff soon.
